Mariners games are fun to go to, even if we did lose. It was girls night out, and Hanne, Sara, Kendra, Megan, Jenn and I all went and got beautiful, pink visors. On the other hand, Seattle showed an amazing amount of support for Rafael Palmiero when he hit his 3000th hit tonight. The Oriole's dugout and bullpen both emptied and congregated at 2nd base for a really long time. The crowd gave him a standing ovation! Richie also hit his 19th HR tonight, but I was out getting food and missed it. According to Meg, it almost came up to where we were sitting. (really good seats btw...section 185 row 3!) I also saw a guy I'd met through PartyLite, giving away tealights at the Star 101.5 booth. All in all, it was a fun night, even if we did lose!
